(1) There will be a meeting as the supreme body of the institution.
(2) The composition of the Assembly shall be as follows:-
(a) Chancellor – Chairman (B) Vice-Chancellor-Vice-President
(c) Member, National Planning Commission (Looking at Health Sector) – Member
(d) Vice-Chancellor – Member
(e) Two persons nominated by the Assembly on the recommendation of the Executive Council from among the vice-chancellors of universities and other health science institutes that provide higher education related to health sciences - members
(f) Secretary, Ministry – Member
(g) Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member
(h)   Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology      -Member
(j) One member nominated by the Assembly from among the Deans (j) One member from among the students studying in the institution on the recommendation of the Executive Council (k) Head, Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality -Member (l) Two members including at least one woman nominated by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Academic Council among the teachers. (d) One member nominated by the Assembly on the recommendation of the Executive Council from among the heads of educational institutions (d) Four members including at least two women nominated by the assembly on the recommendation of the executive council to represent Dalits, tribals/tribals and backward classes. (n) Two members including at least one woman nominated by the Assembly on the recommendation of the Executive Council among the donors. (p) One member nominated by the assembly from among the employees working in the establishment (th) Dean-Member-Secretary
(3) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-section (2) shall be three years.
(4) If the position of a nominated member becomes vacant for any reason, another person will be nominated for the remaining period according to the same procedure as was previously filled in that position.
(5) The procedure for the meeting of the Assembly shall be as prescribed.
